FASHION // Daisy Brides Editorial in Paris

When the opportunity to live in France was first presented to me, one of the first things I thought of was the possibility to create some amazing photoshoots and capture the Parisian sites. The first of my many bridal designers features New Zealand designer, Daisy by Katie Yeung. Shot in beautiful streets of Saint Martin, this editorial featured some of Daisy’s best selling looks. What we love about their gowns is how they are designed to suit a range of body shapes, personalities and styles - yet still being incredibly affordable.

For the modern, laid-back bride, this chic two-piece is both fashion forward and effortlessly cool.

With its crisp clean lines and relaxed fit, the Flora top keeps things simple at the front then surprises with a cape-like feel to the back finished with a row of delicate pearl buttons. The bell-shaped short sleeves fall above a slight crop top to bring a floaty casual air to your look.

Cinched at the waist before flaring into a layer of vintage-inspired polka dot lace, the Flora skirt features a translucent top layer of skirt combines with soft jersey lining to flow into a natural A-line shape with a delicate sweep train to finish

If you are looking for a wedding dress that is sophisticated simple &  sculptural, the Camellia wedding dress is the perfect choice.  Created from stunning white satin with the daring plunge neckline and, sheer panels at the sides and centre to give you support.  The high waist flows into an A-line full skirt with a dramatic train, giving you a definitively bridal silhouette.

Luxurious lace over soft jersey means this dress drapes beautifully, without compromising on comfort. The bodice features a bateau neckline, with lace overlay and scalloped edging at the shoulders laid over a sweetheart bodice – ideal for larger busts. The translucent lace overlay continues at the sides and back, with a deep V cut to the waist.

The lightly corseted, slightly translucent bodice features a deep V neckline at the front and the back. The gown clings to showcase your waist and bottom, then flares out just above the knee to showcase the sexy, lace-edged split. The back features fabric-wrapped buttons, and more lace trims a small sweep train.

The detailing is subtle: slightly translucent Venetian brocade lace is scattered with hand cut petals over the translucent bodice and waist. The bodice has a V-neck at the front, and deeper V at the back, with extra lining around the bust.

With a traditional long silhouette at the back and a striking bold split at the front, dare to be different in this perfect statement gown.

This gown starts out on a traditional note, with simple spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline. At the back, a super low scoop makes it much more modern. Beautiful, botanical lace clings over your waist, hips, and bottom, giving you a seriously sexy hourglass shape.
